The Ask
Digital transformation project for a Fortune 500, supplemental
insurance company, providing financial protection to more than
50 million people worldwide via supplemental insurance like
accident, cancer and critical illness coverage. The business
aims to provide scalable solutions, more efficient processes
and personalized experience to the users across all channels.

I led the transformation for web application to be used by agents to
provide efficient and information rich experience.
Taking into consideration the large complexity of the application, we
initiated the project with ‘delta capture’ that allowed us to capture the
bird’s eye view of the project.
About Process
Being a complex application, requiring approvals not just from
business process point of view but also the legal team for possible
flows, and if any constraints existed.
We started agile process from here.
Participants in the requirement gathering process were Business Analyst,
Client’s Product Owner, UX, Technical Architect, and client’s various department
leads as required.
Process Continued
The team that supported me on this endeavour had 3 UX designers, 4 visual designers, 1 content writer, 1 accessibility specialist distributed across US and Canada.

When planning on interactions, as leads, we were continuously
working together to build and maintain the design language and
eventually the design system for the project.
Recognition
Received recognition for completing the project before time successfully
from client and senior leadership. Being an escalated project due to
scoping issues, this was especially important for client satisfaction.
